Hatch Date: 2012

Carlos is a 13 year old male Cockatiel
He was brought to us due to his owner needing to travel more.
He was in a smaller type of cage, and has now been bumped up to a much larger one.

He was eating a seed mix but has now been introduced to and is taking to eating
Zupreem colored pellets. 
We are working on introducing some different types of fresh foods as well.

He is shy, but not aggressive at all.
He was in a home by himself, but since being in his new foster home, he is 
extremely interested in the other male Cockatiel that is here.

He is not a great flyer, but we are working on more out-of-cage time, and 
exercise should help him gain more experience. 

He is opening up day by day. 

Carlos is being fostered in Leonardo, NJ 
He will only require one visit before adoption
We do not ship our birds.
For the Love of Birds is a network of dedicated foster homes throughout NJ and Eastern PA.
As our adoptable birds are living in private homes, we only allow
approved adopters to make the required visits.
