Meet Fred and Ginger, a bonded pair of 3.5-year-old budgies. They will be adopted out together.
These two are content hanging out in their cage and calling back and forth to the other birds. They are in a fairly large cage that allows them to move around freely. Ginger seems to be the more confident of the two. She is certainly more vocal. Fred is a bit shy and follows her lead.
They are on a seed/pellet diet. They haven't been introduced to any fresh foods yet. They do enjoy millet as a treat.
They are currently being fostered in a home with a cat, cockatiel and two other budgies. They seem to enjoy the company of the the other birds. They don't pay attention to the cat but don't seem scared of him. The cat is very calm.
Fred and Ginger have been disease tested for chlamydia and PBFD.
Fred and Ginger are being fostered in Bensalem, PA, and will require in-person visits before adoption.
We do not ship our adoptable birds.
For the Love of Birds is a network of dedicated foster homes throughout NJ and Eastern PA.
As our adoptable birds are living in volunteer homes, we only allow approved adopters to make the required visits.
