Sammy and Tammy are an adult Male/Female bonded pair of Cockatiels who are housed in separate cages. As much as they love each other, they do not get along when together and enjoy their personal space. As long as they're in the same room, they're happy as can be! :) Tammy is fine and calm without Sam around, but Sam will screech until she is back in his sight, therefore we are adopting them out together. Sam sings beautifully (also imitates a great siren!) and loves his millet treats. He is hand shy and cage aggressive, but we've been working with him on this and he is now used to coming out on a perch. Once out with you, he will step up with just a little complaining...but not much. He also loves kisses. Tammy is a bit timid and will fly if startled by something sudden, however, she LOVES everyone and is a beautifully hand tame bird who will sit on your chest and let you scratch her head for hours. She even lets my 8 y/o scratch her head as well. She also loves kisses! :) Tammy is 11 years old and Sammy's age is unknown, as his previous owner took him in after his first owner passed away. They are being fostered in Hillsborough, NJ and are looking for a wonderful and loving new home.
