About For the Love of Birds: For the Love of Birds is a 100% volunteer and donation based parrot rescue operating through a network of foster homes located in New Jersey and Philadelphia; we have no central location. The mailing address listed is our PO Box, not a sanctuary or visiting facility. As our adoptable birds are living in our volunteers' homes we only allow approved adopters to make visits. Forever homes must be within easy driving distance to a bird's listed foster home. We will not ship our birds.
