About For the Love of Birds: For the Love of Birds is a 100% volunteer and donation based parrot rescue operating through a network of foster homes located in New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania; we have no central location. The mailing address listed is our PO Box, not a sanctuary or visiting facility. As our adoptable birds are living in our volunteers' homes we only allow approved adopters to make visits. Forever homes must be within easy driving distance to a bird's listed foster home. We will not ship our birds.

In order to best assist you, it is highly recommended that you review our adoption or surrender policies and procedures and then complete the appropriate application on our website. The application must be completed on a laptop or desktop.
