Oscar is an ADORABLE Peach Fronted Conure (Half Moon Conure). She has been DNA sexed female. Birthday August 1998. Oscar does answer to her name. She has the most amazing vocabulary! “Good Morning”, “Hello”, “I love you”, “Do you want cereal?”, “Who’s out there?”, “Where’s the birds?”, “Do you want to take a bath?” & “Get in your cage”. She understands what she says. At night, you say “Get in your cage”, and she knows it’s bed time. She will also say “Idiot” and “Stupid”, so be careful!  She routinely visited an avian vet and is in great health. She came to us on a seed diet, and is being switched to more nutritious pellets and fresh foods. Oscar is severely clipped and falls like a lead sinker! She needs to be watched carefully and will need help learning to fly and land when her feathers grow back. She is a very sweet girl, loves attention and to hang out. She will not step up from her cage, but will readily jump on a shoulder. She came from a home with dogs, so she should do fine with them. She will probably do fine in a home with other small birds and children over the age of 8. She is being fostered in Hamilton, NJ.
