Darwin and Cupid are best friends who thoroughly enjoy each other’s company, and were surrendered together due to health issues in their human family. Darwin and Cupid must be adopted together.  They are accustomed to spending most of the daytime out of their cages and only going back in at night for bedtime.  In fact, Cupid prefers to spend a fair amount of her day in Darwin’s cage, sampling his food, while Darwin will perch outside of his cage or on your shoulder. 

Darwin is a Half Moon Conure who is highly intelligent and full of personality.  He does a say a few phrases, and he can whistle familiar sounds and movie themes.  He will also do a couple of tricks, such as ‘wave’ and ‘shake hands’.  He loves wood chew toys and piñatas, and will need to have plenty around to keep him stimulated when his favorite humans are not around. 

Cupid is a Cinnamon cockatiel who enjoys attention and hanging out with her favorite people.  She prefers to snuggle while you are sitting down, but she will also perch on your hand or ride on your shoulder.  She enjoys playing with preening toys, piñatas, and toys with bells.
