Magoo is cautious and defensive when met with new objects, people, or situations. However, given time and patience she will relax when comfortable.
Can be loud , and will be when excited or trying to get your attention.

She is a confirmed Female (has layed eggs in the past)

Magoo is happiest just to be around people, the center of attention.
She enjoys sharing meals with you while perched on the kitchen chair , or near by perch.
Has full flight , and is a very good flyer, can and will fly from room 
to room looking for you , and could land on your head .

She seems to prefer women, and younger girls (tweens) in particular .

She is not a bird for smaller children. 

She is content to sit on your lap while you watch a movie or play video games, if she likes you .

Magoo also likes to bob her head and “dance” to music (steel pan and country are her favorites)! She is a very cuddly bird and if she trusts you, enjoys being pet.

She does not talk much, but has a few sounds he likes to make. She responds to the command “step up” when asked, but only if willing.

Has a mind of her own at times, and can be a bit strong willed ;)

We are searching for someone who has previous experience with conures (or similar sized bird)
She has been around other birds , and dogs and not really interested in them, so needs to be supervised . 
She doesn't realize that not everyone is going to be her friend .

Magoo is being fostered in Leonardo, NJ and will only be adopted to a forever home within easy driving distance to his foster home; we do not ship our birds. For the Love of Birds is a network of dedicated foster homes throughout New Jersey and Philadelphia, we have no central location. As our adoptable birds are being cared for in our volunteers’ homes we only allow approved applicants to make visits.
