Gabe is a Red Lored Amazon. He is a male and was just DNA sexed.  He has lived with one family for 28 years after being found outside their home in a tree. Sadly, his owner passed away and that is why he is being rehomed. 

Gabe likes to chatter and makes a lot of interesting sounds. He squeaks like a dog's squeaky too, then barks when the dogs in his foster home comes running in. It confounds them. He also meows like a cat. 

He has settled in well with his foster family. His favorite is a 23 year old female, but he also interacts with the foster mom and dad and will sit with them. He accepts treats from your hand, solicits attention and allows and seeks head scratches. 

Gabe enjoys playing with toys he can shred. He went to the vet last week and had a great check up. He is a good weight and body tone. His blood work all came back normal and healthy.
