Shasta is a male 20 year old Blue Front Amazon. His prior owner loved him very much and sadly had to surrender him due to a housing situation. His prior owner had him DNA tested and is confirmed a male but she called him a girl anyway. Shasta does have a colorful vocabulary for such a short time in foster care. Shasta does step up on his terms. He was handled very often in his prior home and enjoys being outside of his cage. Shasta has been introduced to all types of animals, young children currently and older children prior and does well with everyone. Since being in foster care, he has been switched over from an all seed diet to Zupreme. Despite the years of seed, his Vet physical exam and bloodwork, disease testing were normal.
