Petie is a gray and white cockatiel. He is approximately 7 years old and had been sharing a cage with 3 other cockatiels prior to arriving at his foster home.. Now he has his own digs. He got along fine with the other cockatiels and would probably do fine in a home with another small bird or two. But he seems to like having his own space.

Petie is very friendly. He is quick to step up. He likes sitting on shoulders, but also likes biting necklace chains, so beware. If you are looking for a bird that will hang out with you and sit on your shoulder, Petie is your man.

Being a male cockatiel, he is also a beautiful whistler. He is also a strong flier.

Petie is being fostered in Hightstown, NJ.
