Wiggy is a beautiful Jenday Conure. He just turned 7 years old!! He is a DNA sexed male.  

His current family is moving back to Ireland and don't have the heart to put Wiggy through a disruptive move again.  

They got Wiggy in California, then moved to Indiana, then NJ then Ireland then back to NJ.  He is used to traveling, but would rather just be in a warm happy loving house. The last time his family took him to Ireland, he was in quarantine for months when arriving in Ireland and when back in the states. They don't want to put him through that again, it is not fair to Wiggy. 

Wiggy has his own room and his cage is by the window so he can look out. He loves to be near or on his cage.  Doesn't like very much being kept inside his cage.  That can just be that he has always had a room to himself where he flies around & feels free.  He loves to be on your shoulder, dancing or talking.  

Wiggy can say "papaya"  "step up" "Wiggy".    He can be shy, very cautious to people he doesn't know. He does take time to feel comfortable around new people, but will come around to love you.  He is not a big bíter but if he is scared he will bite.  

He is a typical Conure, he is loud & can be messy.  He loves Papaya pieces & peanuts & loves his food.  He especially loves to take baths.  Everyday his morning routine is to say good morning, eat, drink & take a bath.  Then he will look for you, landing on your shoulder, but at times on your head.  

He loves to "preen" his people.  He will preen you very well, even try to eat food out of your mouth.   He loves to be with his people. His favorite person in the family is the 17 year old son. But he goes to mom, dad and the adult daughter as well.  Wiggy loves to be the center of attention and does great being in a room where people come and go.  The more time you spend with him the happier he will be and the more he will love you.  

Wiggy loves playing with his toys. He loves wood toys to chew.  He loves to chew but as long as he has enough toys, he won't chew on furniture or picture frames. He has never chewed anything else in the room in his current home.  

He does great with boys, 8 and up.  He also loves women.  He has never been around dogs or cats.  He was near another bird once when he was a year old but felt scared.  He doesn't like small children.
