Louie is a 3yo Canary Winged Bee Bee (Brotogeris), gender unknown.

Louie is a very relaxed guy but has a silly side to him as well. Louie does need morning and evening out of the time cage otherwise he gets restless and loud, which unless his forever home can give that to him he is not suited for apartment living. He often imitates video game noises and his every day whistles sound like a trumpet or whoopie cushion! Louie loves unshelling seeds, however since coming to For the Love of Birds he has been introduced to a healthier pellet diet.

Louie loves climbing around on top of his cage and splashing in his water dish. Louie has a blast making noise with his food/water dishes, toys and dropping food to the bottom of his cage. He is a very good flier too.

Once Louie trusts you he is hand tame and will easily step up. He had been with children in his previous home and would make a great family bird. He is not phased by the dogs or cat in his foster home.

Bee Bees do need routine beak and nail trims.

Louie is being fostered in Bloomfield, NJ and will only be adopted out to homes within an easy driving distance to the foster home. We do not ship our birds.
