Kidd is a female five year old Canary Winged Parakeet (Canary Winged BeeBee). She has lived in one home with several other birds her entire life. Her mom loved her and did a great job socializing her, but must rehome Kidd due to family commitments that are forcing her to move out of state. 

Kidd is a very friendly and sweet bird. From day one that her foster mom brought her home, she readily stepped up and even flew to her foster mom's shoulder. She has been in her foster home for only a few days now, but continues to be very sweet and wants nothing more than to hang out on her foster mom's shoulder and likes sitting on her chest while watching TV. Kidd is full flighted, is a good flyer, but is happy just hanging out on her foster mom. 

One of Kidd's flock mates flew to her cage in her old home and bit off the tip of her beak. Because of this, we are soaking her pellets so that they are easier for her to consume. Her foster mom is also chopping up veggies and fruit into small pieces for her. Kidd's lower beak tend to grow long and needs to be periodically trimmed by an avian vet. 

Kidd is a very docile and friendly bird. She would do well with a new bird owner who has the time to hang out with her or a family where there are multiple people to give her attention and love.
