Nugget (Nug) has been DNA tested and is confirmed male .

He is only a year old , but very still very feisty .

He will need to be worked with on a regular basis in order to get

him more comfortable with hands and people.

 

He will step up on occasion and is being stick trained.

He can bite , and hard at times, learning right from wrong is something

we are working on .

 

Great eater, seed mix as well as fortified pellet diet. 

Interested in trying all sorts of fresh foods .

 

He has been clipped because he is a good flyer and we don't 

want him getting into trouble .

Conures are very curious creatures and need strict supervision.

 

Nug is being fostered in Leonardo, NJ and will only be adopted to a forever home within easy driving distance to his foster home; we do not ship our birds. For the Love of Birds is a network of dedicated foster homes throughout New Jersey and Philadelphia, we have no central location. As our adoptable birds are being cared for in our volunteers’ homes we only allow approved applicants to make visits.
