Meet Nona (green) and Sky, 2-year old parakeets who like nothing more than hanging near each other.  They enjoy playing games of chase among their various toys, so where one goes, the other isn’t far behind.  While they get along most of the time, Sky has been known to put Nona in her place on occasion.

They’re quiet throughout the day, but whey they do sing, it’s easily heard through the house, and of course they’re most vocal around breakfast time.  At night they prefer to be covered up.

Sky and Nona are on a healthy Zupreem pellet diet, and they also receive seed and millet as treats.

Nona and Sky are two lovable, sweet birds who’d make a welcome addition to any home.

Birds are being fostered in Manahawkin , NJ and will only be adopted to a forever home within easy driving distance to his foster home; we do not ship our birds. For the Love of Birds is a network of dedicated foster homes throughout New Jersey and Philadelphia, we have no central location. As our adoptable birds are being cared for in our volunteers’ homes we only allow approved applicants to make visits.
