Finch : : Male
Hatch Date: Atticus was found outside Atticus is an adult male Zebra Finch who was found outside. Atticus came into foster care at the same time as a brother/sister pair of Zebra Finches, Raynee and Reynolds. They quickly wanted to hang out together, but unfortunately Atticus became aggressive toward Reynolds, the male. Atticus was separated out of the flight cage and is now in a cage by himself, but near the other two finches. Atticus liked being with other finches. He may be ok in a large flight cage with a lot of other finches where he doesn't feel in competition for a single female. Atticus is being fostered in Hightstown, NJ and will only be adopted to a forever home within easy driving distance to his foster home; we do not ship our birds. For the Love of Birds is a network of dedicated foster homes throughout New Jersey and Philadelphia, we have no central location. As our adoptable birds are being cared for in our volunteers’ homes we only allow approved applicants to make visits. If interested in adopting please complete an adoption application on our website ftlob.rescuegroups.org.
