Hatch Date : 2014 

Greyson is a 6 year old male Cockatiel.

He doesn't seem to like interaction with people at all , but prefers to be with other 
fellow Cockatiels. 

He is in a home with other birds, and seems to like trying to mimick them .

He is a real grumpy gus, to people , and has been known to drawn blood.
There are no warning bites, he bites hard and does not let go.  

He will easily step up on a perch or ladder, and allow you to move him around .

He came into us with antoher Cockatiel, but didn't seem to like sharing very well , lol
He now has his own cage , toys and food bowls. 
Seems to like this , and his attitude towards other birds (that also have their own cages)
is much better :) 

He would do best in a home that has at least one other Male Cockatiel, or a home 
with a friendly conure . Not sure if he would be a good friend for a larger bird. 

He is NOT your happy go lucky guy that will step up easily and sit on your shoulder,
at least not yet. 

Time and patients are definitely needed with this one.
Not sure if he will ever properly warm up to people.

This behavior sometimes happens when a bird is put in a cage with another bird, and really
gets no one on one human interaction for a long period of time :( 

His wings are clipped for safety .  He is not a great flyer.

He will jump out of his cage rather than climb on top of it.
Likes to venture around the house on the floor sometimes.

He is rather quiet on the most part, but has been trying to whistle more and has 
tried to say words :) 

Greyson is currently being fostered in Leonardo, NJ and will only be adopted to a forever home within  driving distance. For the Love of Birds is a network of dedicated foster homes throughout NJ and Philadephia, we have no central location. As our birds are living in volunteer foster homes only approved applicants are allowed to make visits.
