Kasha is a male Lutino Cockatiel. He loves being talked to and hearing the other birds in his foster home. His exact age is unknown however is said to be about 5 years old.

He used to be hand tame but had not been let out of his cage in quite some time before coming to FTLOB. While he will not actively step up at the moment from inside his cage, he is not afraid of hands and will eat millet from your palm. He is gaining confidence in venturing out of his cage and is able to be handled once out of eyesite of his cage. With patience and love, Kasha's foster mom sees him becoming completely hand tame in no time.

He sings wonderfully and loves playing with shreddable toys. Kasha loves dancing and being misted with water.

Kasha is on a fruited Zupreem mixed with some some seed diet. He has not shown interest in any fresh food. Millet is used for training only.

Kasha has been disease tested for PBFD and Chlamydia. He will be adopted with his cage, disease test results, toys and food to get his forever home started. 

Kasha is being fostered in Bloomfield, NJ and will only be adopted to a forever home within driving distance, we do not ship our birds. For the Love of Birds is a group of dedicated foster homes throughout NJ and Eastern PA - we do not have a central location. As Kasha is living in a volunteer's home, we only allow approved applicants to make visits.
