Wally is a 7 year old DNA sexed female Green Cheek Conure. 

Wally is a spunky little girl and loves attention from her foster mom. She loves head scratches and cuddling under your chin and into your neck. She is nippy, which can be common in green cheek conures. She is not aggressive, and does not bite hard. 

Wally is generally a quiet bird, but she can get loud and scream out for attention. 

Wally does not know the step up command. She will sometimes step up onto her foster mom's shoulder, but sometimes she just leans forward  showing that she wants to be picked up. After a few attempts at letting her try to step up on her own, saying the command, foster mom gives her a little help by scooping her up. When a finger is placed in front of her, she doesn't know what to do and will just nip at it. Work in progress.

Wally did not fly in her previous home. Because of this she is not a good flyer, but can fly well enough to safely land 

She came into foster care on a seed diet and some fresh fruit, such as strawberries. Now she gets pellets mixed in with her seeds and we are trying to transition her onto more pellets.
