Beaker is a 36yo suspected male Red Lored Amazon.
Beaker was living cage bound for the past 10 years in a cage unsuitable for his size. He was eating a poor diet of seeds and junk food. Since in our care he has been provided a lovely cage and introduced to pellets and healthy fruits and veggies. Despite his years of being unhandled, he surprisingly is very sweet. His labwork came back with normal values despite the lifelong junk food. His feather quality is poor and he is overweight, but that shall improve in time.
