Mr. Bird is a beautiful senior White Faced Grey Cockatiel, believed to be male. He lived with one family his entire life, but had to be rehomed since his owner can no longer care for him due to illness.

From what we understand, he was not taken out of his and interacted with. This surprised his foster mom. While he does not readily step up from his cage, he lets his foster mom scoop him up and will then sit on her and hang out. When placed on the bed, he will walk over and jump on her lap.

Being that he was not out of his cage, he cannot currently fly. However, he has been flapping his wings and making very short flights since in his foster home. After he builds up some strength in his muscles and some confidence, hopefully he will be able to enjoy flight. 

Mr Bird chirps a little, but so far has been very quiet for a cockatiel. He is currently in quarantine in a bedroom near other cockatiels and will chirp back and forth with them a little. 

He is a little timid, but is sweet. He was the only bird in his previous home and not yet introduced to other birds, so we don't yet know how he would like that.
