Dusty was found about 4 years ago at a garden center .

They diligently looked for his owner, but know one claimed him.

 

He is a Male Cockatiel , but we do not know his age other than

at least 4 years old. 

 

He is what we would call a professional flyer.

He is very strong because of this, and should only go to home

that will insure that he can not escape outside again :( 

 

He does well with other small to medium birds. 

He does not show any aggression towards them.

 

He is a bit of a spoiled bratt we are finding out ;)

He enjoys being out of the cage , and does not ideally like

going back in for sleeping :( 

We are working with him , and hoping he trusts that he will 

be allowed out the next day ;) 

 

We have been told that he is a bit hormonal and has a bit of 

an issue with White Sox ;) 

He does get a bit pissy from time to time, but giving him a 
time out seems to allow him to settle down .

He will do well with older children, but they will need to under
stand his personality ;) 

 

He is very vocal, and is a very good whistler.

 

He is being fostered in Leonardo, NJ

We would like to see if we can find him a home with at least 

one other Male Cockatiel , and hopefully find a home with a 

safe flight room , or area that he can enjoy on a daily basis.
