Sunnie is a spunky, adorable, beautiful one year old love bird.
She is believed to be female because she will place shredded pieces of paper in her tail. 

She is very curious, smart and interested in people.
She loves to see faces and likes to play and interact with people.
If given the option of her playground, cage area, or hanging out with you, she will pick you.
Her favorite perch is your head.
If you have a big family she will fly from person to person.
She  can and will fly short distances.
In her current foster home, she likes to stick to one room.
She may also spend some time on your shoulders.
Currently, she is a little afraid of hands and fingers,
so she is not fond of being handled or petted at this time. However she will perch on your forearm if you have a yummy treat for her.
For example, when she comes out of her cage for a bit,  and it's time for her to return, you can very easily lure her back in with a treat.
This is called Food Motivated ;)
She will fly to your arm and let you place her back inside her cage.
She plays a lot in her cage during the day.
Shiny bells are her favorites so are crinkly toys or small wooden ones that she can chew apart. 
She likes both kids and adults, especially if they don't try to grab her. 

Sunnie is being fostered in South Plainfield, NJ , and will only be adopted to a forever home within driving distance, we do not ship our birds. For the Love of Birds is a group of dedicated foster homes throughout NJ and Eastern PA - we do not have a central location. As Sunnie is living in a volunteer's home, we only allow approved applicants to make visits.
