Cookie (Pineapple Conure, confirmed male ) and Baby (Budgie, male) are the perfect companions/flock mates! They are a truly bonded pair, so they will absolutely need to stay together!
They are both really good flyers, and enjoy time out of their cage. And wherever Cookie goes, Baby is usually right behind! They return easily to their cage for fresh food in their bowls or a new millet.
Baby is a good talker-- he says a varied combo of Baby, BabyBird, and BabyBoy. It sounds as though he's saying other words too, but we're still trying to make them out. He loves music and chirps up a storm when something's playing. Cookie says his name and, when the dogs in their foster family were making some commotion in another room, Cookie yelled, “What you doing?!” He just picked up a "cat call" whistle from a cockatiel in his foster home.
Cookie will fly to us, if we're sitting near by, and even allows snuggles and head scratches sometimes He is a little aggressive around his cage, like he's protecting his space or Baby, but he's friendlier when he follows us away from his cage to be near us-- he is clicker trained, but still refuses to step up. His favorite things (besides Baby, of course) are baths in his water bowl, dried fruit and nut treats, and when Baby preens his head.

Cookie and Baby have been disease tested and will be adopted with their cage, all its contents and food to get their forever home started.

As our adoptable birds are living in volunteer homes, we only allow approved applicants to meet our birds.
