Guadeloupe (Lupe) is a presumed male cockatiel, approximately 16 years old. 

He is a very easy and content bird in his cage, and enjoys chirping at the handsome guy in his toy mirror. 

He also whistles some very elaborate and soothing songs-- mostly when no one is in the room with him.  He is settling in well at his foster home, but doesn't love to be held at this point. 

He has that adorable, typical cockatiel attitude, which is dramatically grumpy, when he doesn't like something, and then instantly happy, when what was irritating him is stopped. 

Lupe enjoys watching out the window and seems to like the sound of other birds, inside and outside the house.  Lupe would make a good companion for someone content to interact with him from time to time and sit listening to his beautiful songs!

Lupe is being fostered in Howell, NJ and will only be adopted to a forever home within driving distance, we do not ship our birds.
For the Love of Birds is a group of dedicated foster homes throughout NJ and Eastern PA - we do not have a central location.
As Lupe is living in a volunteer's home, we only allow approved applicants to make visits.
