Lloyd (male) and Harriet (female) are Gloster Canaries that came into For the Love of Birds from a hoarding/neglect case.
Since in our care, they have enjoyed a clean, adequately sized home filled with a variety of perches, toys, food and fresh veggies.
They both enjoy hopping from perch to perch and singing their angelic songs.
These two beauties were a breeding pair in their prior home.
We are discouraging them from continuing this behavior and any adopter will be asked to do the same.
Lloyd and Harriet have been disease tested negative for PBFD and Chlamydia.
Lloyd and Harriet are being fostered in Lake Hopatcong NJ and will only be adopted to a forever home within easy driving distance.
For the Love of Birds is a network of dedicated private foster homes throughout NJ and Eastern PA, we do not have a central location.
As our adoptable birds are living in our volunteers' private foster homes, only approved applicants are allowed to visit.
