Artie (Artemis Fowl) is a Pineapple Conure, approx 2 years old and sex unknown.
 

Artie is the most lovable 2-year-old Pineapple Conure that you'll ever find.  
His favorite pastime is to sit on your shoulders and be cuddled. He'll call you in the morning to let him out of his cage, so he can hop on your shoulders and will be happy to spend most of his day there, while you go about your business.  He loves to eat what you're eating and eats fruits and veggies from the countertop and table.  

When you're not there, he will happily play around his cage or wander around the house.  You do have to be careful not to annoy him or stop him from doing something he really likes, otherwise, like a typical Conure, he can try to bite.  

Artie settles in quickly and picks a favorite from the adults in the house. He does not like loud noises or a busy house with lots of people—he prefers 1:1 attention and would do best with a primary caretaker.

Artie is being fostered in Belle Meade, NJ and will only be adopted to a forever home within driving distance. For the Love of Birds is a network of dedicated foster homes throughout NJ and eastern PA.  We have no central location and, as our adoptable birds are living in volunteer homes, only approved applicants can make visits.
