Tobey is a young female Pineapple Conure. She came from a home with two other conures - a Green Cheek Conure and Jenday Conure. She did not like to interact with them. 

Tobey is a very sweet and social little girl. It took her a couple of days to settle into her foster home, but now is happy to step up from inside her cage. She likes hanging out on top of her cage, and on her foster mom's shoulder and lap. She also finds it fun to traverse along the back of the couch.

Tobey loves head and neck scratches. She seems to be friendly with every person she meets. She readily stepped up for female and male visitors. While she is sweet to everyone she has met at her foster home, she is most comfortable with people who are comfortable around birds. 

If you are looking for a bird who would like to interact with the entire family, Tobey may be the girl for you. 

Tobey is being fostered in Manalapan, NJ and will only be adopted to a forever home within driving distance to the foster home. We will not ship any bird and require at least three in-person visits before adopting Patra. For the Love of Birds is a network of dedicated foster homes throughout NJ and Philadelphia area, we have no central location. As our adoptable birds are being cared for in our volunteer's homes we only allow approved adoption applicants to make visits.
