About Thora
Status: Adopted! Species: Bird General Color: White Color: Grey Pied Current Age: 3 Years 5 Months (best estimate)

Hatch Date: 2021

Thora is approximately 8-month-old Female Cockatiel. She is very shy, but slowly opening up to foster parents. Not hand tame, yet, and very skittish around hands. Wings have been clipped, so flying is not an option for her yet.

She was surrendered to us, as the owner found he did not have the time to dedicate to working with her as he had originally thought he would have.

She is very sweet and quiet most of the time. We would love to find a home that has another female Cockatiel to hang out with.

Thora is being fostered in Leonardo, NJ and will only be adopted to a forever home within driving distance.

We will not ship our birds.

For the Love of Birds is a group of dedicated foster homes throughout NJ and Eastern PA - we do not have a central location. As Thora is living in a volunteer's private home, we only allow approved applicants to make visits.
