We’re relocating to the UK and unfortunately due to the complexity and logistics surrounding transporting birds, we reluctantly need to rehome our canary Kyle. He is very healthy, around 4 years old and an absolutely lovely bird. I am super reluctant to rehome him and I’m only doing this because it is in his best interest. We will be rehoming him with his cage, toys and a travel cage.  We are looking for someone to offer him a wonderful permanent home. (This is not a project bird for a child.) We love him and want the best for him.

He enjoys being around people and thrives in my kitchen/living space, as I spend most of my day in there. He loves fresh lettuce daily, egg sticks and millet in his cage. His favorite toys are his mirrors and he will spend most of his day chatting away to himself in the mirror. He can sing although he doesn’t sing regularly. 

He has been allowed out of the cage for some fly time daily.
We are looking for a home that has no Dogs, Cats, or other animals that may be considered a threat to him when out of the cage.

He might do very well with another male Canary in the home.
We ae not looking to find him a girlfriend ;) 

Kiyle is in our Help With Rehoming program and presently living with his owner in Long Branch NJ 
He will only be adopted to a forever home within driving distance.
We will not ship our birds.
For the Love of Birds is a group of dedicated foster homes throughout NJ and Eastern PA - we do not have a central location.
As Kyle is living in his owners home, we only allow approved applicants to make visits.
