Hatch Date: Sans (mom) - 2018 and Sharkbite (daughter) - 2021
Meet Sans and Sharkbite, both females Budgies
Sans is Sharkbite's mom and they get along very well.
They eat together, preen together and nap together.
It's quite adorable!
The ladies were recently separated from a larger flock and are very playful and active.
They can get chatty at times, but do calm down pretty quickly.
They were free-flighted in their previous home, they have a large flight cage, and
are allowed out for free flight time.
they are let out regularly and they love to perch on both her and her brother when they're out.
Their Foster mom said they LOVE her brother and sent me a picture of them walking all over his head and his shoulder...lol!!
They are super friendly and very happy little birds.
Not so much hand-tame, but they do return to their cage easily with a little millet convincing.
They have been disease tested and are negative for Chlamydia, Polyoma, and PBFD.
The girls are being fostered in Fords, NJ, and will only be adopted by someone that is
willing to drive to do the required visits.
We will NOT ship our birds.
For the Love of Birds is a network of dedicated foster homes throughout NJ and Eastern PA,
we have no central location. As our adoptable birds are living in volunteer homes, or in their family home,
we only allow approved applicants to meet our birds.
