Ripley is a 20 year old, DNA confirmed Female Congo African Grey. She is a funny, social girl who is still settling into her foster home. She has some words, phrases and sounds, such as "See ya later," followed immediately by the sound of a squeaky door opening, "Hi, Rip," and "Hi Grant," and to the dogs, "No, come here, good boy". She also does some cool explosion sounds that are quite entertaining. She will easily step up to be held, once you have earned her trust. She accepts head scratches sometimes and enjoys being close to and part of the family action.
As our adoptable birds are living in volunteer homes, we only allow approved applicants to meet our birds.Ripley will require three visits prior to adoption.
