Mira is a special needs parakeet. She is female and approximately 3 years old. She has two tumors on her abdomen. 

Tweety is a beautiful, young, female parakeet. A good samaritan first saw Tweety when Tweety was  eating at her wild bird feeder in September. It took her until end of November to catch her. She was filling a bird feeder with budgie seed for her.

The morning after a snow, poor Tweety was on the feeder, all puffed up and looking in a bad way, and the good samaritan was able to grab her.  She took her to a vet right away. The vet said she looks ok, but she's not yet a year old.  He clipped her wings and nails.

Tweety can fly, but the couple of times she came out of the cage, she put herself in a dangerous situation, landing on the dog, who freaked out and then she went to the power cords.

Tweety gets very excited when she hears other birds chirping on youtube.
