Alaska and Sea are a bonded pair of female parakeets.  Both were found outside, but from two different towns (Howell and Sea Bright).  They met in Rescue and became fast friends. 

Alaska is a beautiful, white parakeet, that was taken in by a good samaritan, when she witnessed the tiny bird being attacked by a crow.  She took Alaska to the vet, she got a clean bill of health, and she had only a small, red mark on her head that is healed. 

Alaska's a great flyer, but very skittish, which is quite understandable, given what she's been through.  We posted her as a "Found Birdf", but no owner came forward.

We've had Sea Bright a very short time, but she too was found outside.  She chose Alaska as her friend quickly, and now the two are just waiting for their forever home, and the lifelong security they've never had.  

The pair together is still skittish, but will improve with appropriate interaction and training.  They should have frequent time out of cage and will entertain you with their sweet chirping in exchange for your daily ove and care.  


Alaska and Sea are being in fostered in Morristown, NJ, so she will be adopted only to someone willing to drive to meet her/pick her up.
