Archie is a stunning 2.5-year-old, believed to be male Lutino Cockatiel.
He has a relaxed, sweet temperament, and appears both Lutino and Pied
making his body white with yellow spots and a yellow head.

He is not disruptive or destructive in any way.
Just one month into living with his foster family, he is uninterested in
free flight or cuddles just yet.
He is content to be inside or on top of his cage.
His original owner surrendered him due to a lack of time to spend with him due to family obligations.
Archie was not getting a lot of personal contact, and because of this is a bit skittish around most folks.
He fills his days nibbling on toys and singing or chatting with a very sweet,
low-volume voice, similar to a purr.

Archie is relatively quiet, chirping only when his person is in the room,
so he can be let out of the cage.

He's very quiet at night in general and is not a noisy bird at all.
He takes daily baths in his 2nd water bowl, and he
enjoys listening to music.

While he is not hand-trained, he's warming up to his foster family with hand-fed millet.
He can still be quite timid with most folks, but when he's with someone
he's comfortable with, he enjoys climbing around the outside of his cage and climbing on his gym.
Archie's favorite treat is millet seeds.

As our adoptable birds are living in volunteer homes, we only allow approved adopters
