Cockatiel : : Small
Hatch Date: Unknown
Taco is a Cockatiel, age unknown.
Coloring suggests female, but not DNA tested
Taco's background is a bit of a mystery
He was found wandering the streets of Perth Amboy, NJ when found.
He is ready for takeoff and his destination is your heart
This beautiful boy loves to fly (probably why he was found outside :)
to your hand or to the top of your head
Once he has flown around the room for a while he will strike a pose
and sing for you.
If you have some millet he is a master of Step up, Come, and Spin.
Watch out if you are eating a red pepper, an apple, or some cilantro, as he
goes gaga for these foods!
You can also win his heart by providing him with lots of paper to shred
Taco is in our HWR program, located in Patterson, NJ, and will only be adopted by someone that is
willing to drive to do the required visits. We will NOT ship our birds. For the Love of Birds is a network of dedicated foster homes throughout NJ and Eastern PA,
we have no central location.
As our adoptable birds are living in volunteer homes, or in their family's homes, we only allow approved applicants to meet our birds.
If interested in meeting Taco please review our adoption policies and complete an
adoption application on our website ftlob.rescuegroups.org.
