African Grey : : Senior
Merlin is a 32 year old Congo African Grey. His original owner passed away around 12 years ago, and Merlin went to live with her brother, but he's grown ill and can no longer care for Merlin. Merlin has some very "colorful" language, which may not play well with young children and guests, but his foster is doing what she can to discourage these sayings/words. Merlin also does beeps and sounds well, as is true of many Greys, and he picks up language quickly, as he's only been with his foster for two weeks, and already calls her son, just like she does. He steps up and likes to hang out with his foster mom, as she prepares healthy foods on the kitchen counter. Merlin is being fostered in Howell, NJ. We do not ship our adoptable birds.
You must live within driving distance to meet and adopt birds.
For the Love of Birds is a network of dedicated foster homes throughout NJ and Eastern PA.
As our adoptable birds are living in volunteer homes, we only allow approved adopters to make the required visits.
If interested in adopting Merlin, please visit our website ftlob.rescuegroups.org and read our adoption policies, fees, and
complete an adoption application. Other Pictures of Merlin (click to see larger version):
