Cockatiel : : Male : : Adult : : Small
Hatch Date: Approximately 2016 Hopper is a white-faced cockatiel about 7 years old. He was surrendered by his family when they moved and could not take him with them. He cannot fly. He likes attention. He comes to the front of his cage when somebody looks in on him. He is very inquisitive. He will watch the people in the room as they go about their business. He likes to play with the toys in his cage. When his cage door is left open, he may come out and climb onto your hand to be picked up. His previous owner said he likes to be held but doesn’t like hands reaching into the cage to get him. He is living in a room with another bird (in a separate cage), and they like chirping back and forth. He likes to be hand-fed treats like millet and dried bananas. He is a little chatty during the day but quiet at night. He might wake early in the morning as he eats his breakfast.
Hopper is being fostered in Newtown, PA. If interested in adopting Hopper, please visit our website ftlob.rescuegroups.org and read our adoption policies, see our fees, and complete an adoption application. Other Pictures of Hopper (click to see larger version):
