Buddy is a 12-year-old, assumed male, Timneh African Grey.
He enjoys being out of his cage or on his play stand playing with his toys.
Loves to destroy finger traps ;)
He has been around dogs and will bark with them.
He can also sing Happy Birthday and ask for an apple (no seeds!)
He is on an all-pellet diet but also eats fresh fruits and veggies.
You can share your dinner with him as he will eat most table food just make sure what you give him is healthy and will not hurt him.
Once he trusts you he will let you scratch his head and then will learn to step up for you.
He is full-flighted and very good at it.
Although he was doing well with his male owner, since being in the foster home, he
has been introduced to a woman, and seems more interested in her company now!

He will need time to settle into a new home to learn where everything is before you want
him flying around ;)
He knows the house he is in now Very well :)
He has recently been seen by an Avian vet for his Wellness visit and has been
disease tested.

Buddy is being fostered in Worcester, PA. He will only be adopted by someone who is willing to drive to do the required visits. We will NOT ship our birds.
For the Love of Birds is a network of dedicated foster homes throughout NJ and Eastern PA.
We do not have a central location. As our adoptable birds are living in volunteer homes, or in their family home, we only allow approved applicants to meet our birds.
