Bird is a 5 y/o female Cockatiel.

Meet Bird, a 5-year-old cockatiel. Bird, aka Birdee (as foster mom calls her) is a quiet bird. She tends to
chirp to get your attention or to chime in with the other birds in the house. And if you point fingers at
her she takes exception to it. She is somewhat hand-tamed, stepping up to be returned home after flying
around if she was startled off her house. And as this is a new cage for her, she’s not used to climbing out
or in by herself yet – foster mom will coax her out at which point she’s happy to hang on top of her
jungle gym. And she’ll need to be coaxed back in when it’s time. At night she likes to be covered.
Birdee’s diet is comprised of Zupreem Naturals pellets. She is given fresh fruits, vegetables, and nuts but
to date hasn’t been interested except for a small piece of pecan once.
Birdee is currently being fostered in Manahawkin, NJ.

Bird is being fostered in Manahawkin, NJ. We do not ship our adoptable birds. You must live within driving distance to meet and adopt birds.
