Kaptain Kugel is a lively, handsome and adventuresome 6-year-old male lovebird. He was hand-reared and is very comfortable around people, although he does not like hands.

KK has a large cage with lots of toys. He keeps himself busy playing with his basketball toy, chattering to himself in the mirror and swinging on his various swings. He seems to enjoy all the activity around him in his foster family's house. KK keeps himself busy both in and out of his cage. 

KK has a varied diet of seeds, fresh fruits and vegetables. He likes apples the most. KK enjoys his out of cage time. He likes being around people and landing on your shoulder or head or perching on your computer. KK is good in flight and likes exploring.

He is inquisitive and while not too destructive, he will nibble on the newspaper. He returns to his cage regularly at his own volition. KK is easy to live with and fun to watch. We are sure he will be an awesome pet for a lucky applicant. 

Kaptain Kugel is being fostered in Bristol, PA, and will only be adopted to a forever home within driving distance. We will NOT ship our birds.

KK is living in a volunteer's private home; we only allow approved applicants to make visits.
