Hatch Date: approx 2021
Blueberry is a female budgie who is approximately 3-4 years old. She is super sweet, but very afraid of human interaction. She used to have a cage mate and is now alone, so she is looking for a new buddy to fly around with in her large cage.
We attempted to put her with another female parakeet, but unfortunately, the other parakeet did not accept her. Blueberry is now back in her cage alone. We are hoping to find her another buddy very soon.
Blueberry is more of a bird bird, instead of a people bird. She flies away from hands and mainly keeps to herself, unless another bird is around...then she's very sociable and accepting of the other bird. She has a very bird-friendly personality and will do wonderful with the right cage mate.
Blueberry loves her millet and devours both that and her treat sticks when available.
Blueberry is being fostered in Hillsborough, NJ and will only be adopted to a forever home within driving distance. We will NOT ship our birds.
For the Love of Birds is a group of dedicated foster homes throughout NJ and Eastern PA, we do not have a central location.
