Zeus and Hermes are five year old DNA tested male lovebirds. They initially came to FTLOB when they were a mere eight weeks old and needed to be hand fed (named Chatty and Shy at the time). The boys were adopted once weaned however were recently returned as their family is moving out of the country. One of their baby pictures is included in their profile.
 

Zeus and Hermes are very bright, energetic, loving boys. They love flying, exploring, toys and most of all, each other. They do enjoy the company of other birds of similar size as well. In their previous home, their primary caregiver was an elementary aged girl so they would make for excellent family birds. 
 

They are hand tame, and love riding the shoulder or head of their people. Their ideal home would offer love, enrichment and lots of time out of their enclosure. 

Although pretty much identical, they are easy to tell apart through their chirps, one feather and a toenail! 
 

The boys are on a diet of Zupreem and vegetables with their favorite being snap peas. They are also keen to a cheerio treat.
