Conchita is a confirmed female Peach-Faced Love bird, approximately 7 years old.
She is a friendly bird for the most part but is a chronic egg layer.
This makes her very protective over her cage, where her eggs are located.
She will NOT be adopted to a home with other birds, as she feels threatened by them.
She is a very good flyer and will fly when out of her cage from high point to high point.
She has a lot of energy.
She will gladly hop on your arm or shoulder when you approach.
She has hopped on her foster home caretaker's finger a couple of times.
She is however hard to wrangle back in the cage.
She seems to enjoy water.
She flies to the sink whenever the water is on.
She will take a drink or do a quick dip.
She is living in her foster home at present with a Cockatiel.
We don't let them out at the same time.
The one time we did she immediately flew at him.
I don't think she means to be aggressive, it's just a Love Birds nature.
She might do best in a home where she will be the center of attention.
Conchita is being fostered in Bensalem, PA, and will only be adopted
to a forever home within driving distance.

Conchita is living in a volunteer's private home; we only allow approved applicants to make visits.
