Ashes is very friendly, hand tamed, likes to ring his bells. Loves to be involved in everything. Will sit on your shoulder while you're walking around the house. Must be watched when out. He is an excellent flyer and will fly to where he wants to be. Even onto your shoulder. He says Wanna come out and Goodnight often. Sometimes the F word. He will sometimes make a burp sound while you're drinking something which is funny. He will get noisy when he wants attention. Will also throw his food out of the cage. ( He's a messy boy). He was a man's bird for his first 25 years and the last 3 with a woman who inherited him. He does seem to prefer men while in foster care. His diet consists of zupreem pellets, Avi cakes, and Wagner safflower seeds. I have been working on fresh fruits and veggies. He will taste them but he doesn't eat them. His previous home also had a conure. In his foster home he is with two other birds. I believe he will do well with or without other birds in the home as he doesn't bother with them.
