JoJo
Jojo is a Lutino male Cockatiel. He was in one home his entire life and lived happily with other Cockatiels. When his mate passed away he began to vocalize loudly. His prior owner felt that Jojo would do best with other Cockatiels and decide to bring him into the Rescue.
While being in foster care Jojo has quickly began stepping up and showing us that he LOVES having his neck scratched. Jojo also does say a few phrases and whistles well. He does vocalize loudly at times in the evening (8-9:30pm) even when covered with a sheet (prior owner informed us of this behavior), so please keep in mind that this behavior may or may not resolve. Other than this, he is relatively quiet in the morning and throughout the day. Jojo has been around young children and does do very well with them. He has also been around dogs and a cat and doesnt seem phased.
Jojo recently was examined by a Veterinarian and currently is in good health. Disease test negative. JoJo is being fostered in Bergenfield NJ
