Jewels, (Jules) is a beautiful 8 year old, DNA confirmed male, Green Cheek Conure

 

He came in with another Conure , named Koby .

They had been sharing a cage for many years, and Jules started to get a bit aggressive with Koby .

 

Jules has his own cage now and loves that he no longer needs to share his food or toys with anyone .

 

We are testing Jules to see if he will get along with other birds now that he has his own space.

 

Jules is hand tame, and will usually step up easily.

 

Jules has clipped wings, but still can fly, just has to work harder at it .

 

Great appetite , loves bathing in his water dish or in the sink .

 

Can be a bit chatty and nippy at times.

Jules is currently being fostered in Leonardo, NJ and will at least two visits prior to adoption.

For the Love of Birds is a network of dedicated foster homes throughout NJ and Philadelphia; we do not have a central location. We require that our adopters be driving distance from a birds foster home as we do not ship our birds. Due to our adoptable birds being fostered in private homes we only allow approved adoption applicants to make visits.
