For the Love of Birds recently took in two clutches of three beautiful lovebirds that hatched the first week of July 2019. All six babies are being handfed by their foster homes since they were three weeks old. The babies will be available for adoption when they are fully weaned and between 8-10 weeks old (beginning of September).

Both clutches have been on Kaytee Exact Hand Feeding Formula and are being weaned with Zupreem, Avicakes, fruits and vegetables. All lovebirds will be disease tested and DNAed prior to adoption. We would be happy to adopt two lovebirds of the same gender to the same household.


This yellow peach face mutation is DNA confirmed FEMALE and has been disease tested for PBFD, Polyoma and Chlamydia. She readily steps up, loves taking baths, swinging on toys and geting her belly pet.

Clutch A is being fostered in Bloomfield, NJ and Clutch B is being fostered in Jefferson, NJ
