Chito is a beautiful 12 year old DNA Male, Sun Conure. He  loves being part of your conversation. He WILL let you know when you aren’t paying enough attention to him.
As most Sun Conure's he can get very loud at times.

He loves when you sing to him or whistle random songs, as he  head bops to certain tunes. He enjoys his cage door being open and able to sit on top of it and move around the outside of his cage. 

Chito is hesitant around unfamiliar people. 
But once he is comfortable with people he likes, he loves to sit on your shoulder. 

Chito has been living in a home with two dogs and he is fine with them.

He enjoys being hand fed, especially almonds, cashews, peanuts, and sunflower seeds.   He also enjoys mixed nuts and fruits.  His foster home is transitioning him to pellets as his main food.

Chito's family just had a new baby and they now don't have the time needed with Chito that he requires.

Chito is being fostered in Ewing Township, NJ.  and will only be adopted to a forever home within driving distance to his foster home; we do not ship our birds. For the Love of Birds is a network of dedicated foster homes throughout New Jersey and Philadelphia, we have no central location. As our adoptable birds are being cared for in our volunteers’ homes we only allow approved applicants to make visits.
