Chicklet  is a 13 year old suspected female sun conure. 

Chicklet is a spoiled little girl and like most sun conures, will definitely let you know if she isn’t getting what she wants. She gets treats of either papaya (her favorite) or nutriberries twice a day, and she lets you know if she thinks you forgot about her. 

She is a loud little girl so will not be adopted to apartment, condo, or Townhouse.
She is best kept where she can be close to people as much as possible. 
If she gets lonely or thinks she needs some attention, she will scream until she gets it.

Chicklet prefers women over men so will only be adopted to a forever home with a female primary caregiver.

Once out of her cage, she is perfectly happy just sitting on your shoulder on in your lap being pet and cuddled.  She loves having her head and under her wing rubbed.  She loves mimicking clicking noises.  And if you make kissing noises at her while she is sitting on you, she will give you gentle little kisses.  She also enjoys listening to music. 

Chicklet is on a health diet of Zupreem and has been disease tested. She will be adopted with her cage, toys, disease test results and food to get her forever home started.

Chicklet is being fostered in Howell, NJ and will only be adopted to a forever home within driving distance. We will not ship birds. For the Love of Birds is a network of dedicated foster homes throughout NJ and Eastern PA, we have no central location.
